  • 15 Feb 2014
  • 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
  • Lord’s Cricket Ground, St John’s Wood Road, London NW8 8QN
Join the Stanford Club of Great Britain and other alumni clubs in the UK as we go on a special Tour of Lord's Cricket Ground at the Marylebone Cricket Club.

Considered the "Home of Cricket", Lord's is an iconic venue with a history going back over 200 years. Everyone from complete cricket novices to lifelong fans will have a great time with an expert guide who will take us on an almost two-hour tour of this landmark institution and recent Olympic venue. We will start in the MCC Museum, home of the famous Ashes urn, where we will learn about the history of cricket, and then proceed on a walk throughout the rest of the famous facilities. After our tour, those who can stay can enjoy a relaxing lunch at Lord's Tavern, which serves delicious pub food in a friendly atmosphere.

Price:  £18 Adults, £12 Concessions

RSVP:  Spaces on the tour are limited and we must have final numbers by the end of January so please sign up on the Eventbrite page soon to reserve your spot:

If you would like to join us for lunch (not included in the tour price) after the tour, please sign up for that separately as well.

Please note that proof of age or other identification will be required for Concessions tickets on the day of the tour.
