CS: Christmas at The Passage Centre for the Homeless

  • 14 Dec 2013
  • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • The Passage Centre, St Vincent’s Centre, Carlisle Place SW1P 1NL

We are continuing our support of this worthwhile charity that provides food and support to the homeless. Last year we decorated the premises for the festive season which those who participated found to be fun and rewarding.

PAUK will be working again with The Passage Centre this Christmas.

We are looking for volunteers to help at The Passage Centre on Saturday, December 14th 10am-12pm.

If you can't make this event we would ask you to consider donating to The Passage. We have set up a fundraising page on justgiving.com/pauk to make it easier for you to donate.

If you have any questions about this event or would like to volunteer on December 14th please email paukyoungalum@gmail.com

This event is open to the entire PAUK community, and we hope to see great representation from across graduating class years!

This is a Princeton Alumni Community Event so we rely on your participation and so it would be great if we could get 15 volunteers.

RSVP: Nancy Curtin (nancy.curtin@closeam.com or sasha.peplow@closeam.com)

About The Passage:

Our organisation maintains a Vincentian ethos, respecting the beliefs and cultures of all who use The Passage and work with us. 3,975 people slept rough in London in the year to 31 March 2011 – a 8% increase . Our aim is to provide homeless people with support to transform their own lives.

We welcome and treat clients with respect and dignity, find out what they need and want. We offer professional and appropriate advice and help according to the client needs and aspirations. We try to agree an action plan with clients which is time limited with the aim of supporting clients out of homelessness.

As a Vincentian Organisation we are members of Vincentians in Partnerships
