CS: Painting at The Passage Centre for the Homeless

  • 04 Jun 2011
  • 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
  • The Passage Centre, St Vincent’s Centre, Carlisle Place SW1P 1NL
We are continuing our support of this worthwhile charity that provides food and support to the homeless. Last year we decorated the premises for the festive season which those who participated found to be fun and rewarding. This time we would like to freshen up the place by painting the reception and meeting area.

This is a Princeton Alumni Community Event so we rely on your participation and so it would be great if we could get 15 volunteers.

RSVP: Nancy Curtin (nancy.curtin@closeam.com or sasha.peplow@closeam.com)

About The Passage:

Our organisation maintains a Vincentian ethos, respecting the beliefs and cultures of all who use The Passage and work with us. 3,975 people slept rough in London in the year to 31 March 2011 – a 8% increase . Our aim is to provide homeless people with support to transform their own lives.

We welcome and treat clients with respect and dignity, find out what they need and want. We offer professional and appropriate advice and help according to the client needs and aspirations. We try to agree an action plan with clients which is time limited with the aim of supporting clients out of homelessness.

As a Vincentian Organisation we are members of Vincentians in Partnerships
