In his new book, Prof. Morrison weaves a richly-detailed account of the Bolshoi Ballet from its origins in 1776 under Catherine the Great through its glorious, intrigue-filled history as a crucible for high art. Get a look behind the curtain at scandal, tragedy, art and politics. Books will be available for purchase.
