Volunteer with PAUK

In pursuit of its vision to help you enrich your life and the lives of those around you, PAUK has created several different channels for your volunteering efforts, some of which support the wider network of Princeton Alumni Association Volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering for any of the committees listed below, please email the relevant chair, or if you wish to propose new opportunities, please contact any Board members to discuss.

Alumni Schools Committee

UK Applicant Interviews

The Alumni Schools Committee (ASC) provides interviews for all students in the United Kingdom (and further) applying for undergraduate study at Princeton, interviewing 100% of the applicants who request an alumni interview.

Schools Outreach

ASC volunteers also represent Princeton at UK College Fairs, most notably the Fulbright Commission's USA College Day in London in September each year, and make presentations at local schools to attract top-quality students.

Community Service Committee

In the Past

The Community Service Committee has organised many projects in the last few years that allow alumni, their families and other members to spend time serving the community through a wide variety of initiatives - one-off, ongoing, local and more exotic, including a careers fair for YMCA job-seekers, painting a homeless shelter's clothing store, and various charity runs.

Point of Contact

For more information or to volunteer your time, please contact Dean Menegas.

Princeton Parents Committee

Mission and Goals

The mission of the Princeton Parents Committee is to provide a forum for parents of current and former students to remain engaged with and connected to Princeton and its wider community, its network and the activities in the UK ("Princeton UK Family") through regular meetings, activities and events.

In the Princeton Parents Committee, we aim to be a reliable and consistent source of information and help for new parents and students, encourage interaction within the Princeton UK Family, increase awareness of PAUK Events and Activities, boost participation in the Annual Giving, and be a source of feedback for the University in regards to key UK-based parent issues or concerns.

Points of Contact and Relevant Links

If you have any questions or if you wish to volunteer, email Nancy Curtin '79 P18 (Chair of PAUK Parents Committee).

As a Princeton parent, you can also stay in touch by ensuring that your contact details are up-to-date on TigerNet (or contact our Membership Chair to discuss), and can join our Facebook Page to interact with UK students that are applying to reach out to current Princeton students.
